Children's Book Portfolio
Below you’ll find a few examples from several books I have, or am in the process of illustrating.
While I like to vary and adapt my style to suit the needs of my clients and their story, I work hard to keep continuity within each project, working strictly within each colour palette, my approach and which brushes I use. There are also some strong running themes throughout everything I do. Notably, my attention to detail! From a fiddly abacus, to the spider or the bird I’ve hidden in the background for kids to spot as they make their way through the pages; this is admittedly an obsession of mine, so I'm only too happy to find opportunities for that if the brief aligns.
Count Dycalculia
Written by Mischa Pearson
"This book is beautifully illustrated and so fun to read. My son (who struggles to read and has a learning delay) really enjoyed reading this with the audio that comes with the book. The audio is so much fun with sound effects to go along."
