Children's Book Portfolio
Hey, thanks for stopping by! Below you’ll find examples from 5 books that I have, or am in the process of illustrating.
While I like to vary my style to suit the needs of my clients and their story, I work hard to keep continuity within each project, working strictly within each colour palette, my approach and which brushes I use. There are also some strong running themes throughout my work. Notably, my attention to detail! From a fiddly abacus, to the spider or the bird I’ve hidden in the background for kids to spot, as they make their way through the pages. This is particularly valued by my fellow neurospicies, who need a little more to keep them engaged.
If you’d like to discuss your own book project, get in touch! I have space again in April 2025.
Count Dycalculia
Review:
This book is beautifully illustrated and so fun to read. My son (who struggles to read and has a learning delay) really enjoyed reading this with the audio that comes with the book. The audio is so much fun with sound effects to go along with the story.
I really enjoyed how informative the book was too as I wasn’t aware of dyscalculia until I had read this.
At the back of the book are some fraction worksheets to complete, so not only is this a joyful read but practically helps the reader too.

Honeysuckle Lodge Cottage
Inspired by the brilliant and patient work of Gez Robinson, Honeysuckle Lodge Cottage is the first of a series to celebrate a family of mice who currently live by the brambles, in a humble Yorkshire garden.
I'm really excited to bring this story to life. If you'd like to learn more about the family of mice, you can do so here. Enjoy!
